Assignment: Design a cover and two complementary spreads for a Steelers Game Day Main Story. Develop illustrations or find photographs to make for an appealing, attention grabbing cover and layout.
I wanted the design to highlight the history of the rivalry and be one that long time, as well as new, fans could appreciate. The designs were meant to show that through the years the rivalry has always been just as intense and important for both teams and that the intensity has not and will not change.
Assignment-To rebrand a faux resell streetwear brand including new logo, in store poster ads, seasonal lookbook, and an app.
This was my senior project meaning I was allowed to pick all elements of this project. The new brand for DHST is one that sticks to traditional streetwear imagery but show similarities to commonly known fashion brands. All the photography in this project was taken and edited by myself.
Assignment- Develop a new identity, logo, and packaging for three different chocolate bar flavors for Two Ravens a "Bean-to-Bar" Chocolate Maker.
I wanted the new brand for Two Ravens to be one that any generation could love and appreciate. I chose to center the new brand around tattoos as so many people either have or want them. With so many styles and subjects to choose from it made creating the packaging easy and fun, it allowed me to create original illustrations in a new a style that I haven’t had a chance to try before. All the illustrations were done by me using a Wacom Tablet and Photoshop.
Assignment: Create a poster for Austin City Limits highlighting an artist who has performed at the event as well as promoting the event itself. An email must be provided that would be sent out to promote the event and still relate back to the poster and artist.
K’naan is an artist that has been heavily inspired by his Somalian roots and I wanted that to come through in the poster and email. I did a lot of research into the Somalian culture and landscape to find colors and art styles to use in the overall design.
Assignment-Design a logo, and stationery package (business card, letterhead and envelope) for Furever Home.
This was an entry for the 2019 AIGA Pittsburgh Context Student Design Competition, I wanted to create unique logo that showcased the their main message which was “Every dog and cat’s most basic need is food, water…and a HOME”. I realized most logos for animal associations only show animals and I wanted this logo to be more about the bond people make with these animals when they find their eventual Furever Home. This project went on to win a silver for branding in the 2019 AIGA Pittsburgh Context Student Design Competition.
Assignment: Create a promotional poster for the Billtown Flea Market.
The design shows a gramophone as the main focal piece to showcase the vintage items that could be found and bought at the flea market. I added a colorful effect to the gramophone to bring more attention to the poster itself and attract the eye of younger people who might not know what the object is but are drawn to the color.
